Ian & Philippa Porritt are absolutely thrilled to embrace life as the proud owners of Eviedale Cottages, Bakehouse & Bistro!

Since taking over in 2017, they are overjoyed to kick off their ninth year as new islanders in Orkney.

Having moved from Perth, Scotland with their dogs and three daughters (when they get the chance to visit), they’re loving their Orkney home and the warm welcome from the community.

Eviedale is the home to Orkney's first wood-fired pizza oven and dedicated sourdough bakery which produces a delightful array of sourdough bread, croissants, and pastries and now sourdough beremeal crackers

Their traditional cottages are located in the charming village of Evie on Orkney's West Mainland, a perfect base for exploring all that Orkney has to offer. A converted 200 year old Steading, Eviedale is the perfect mix of tradition and modern living.
